The Gemini Apes Timeline
1988 Dirk's first thoughts about a story with apes in while working on Superman On Trial.
1991 Brief treatment produced called "The Apes from Space".
1991 Agent appointed to see if treatment could be made into a film.
1995 Dirk Maggs leaves BBC to go freelance.
1995 A Fuller treatment produced called "Gemini".
1996 "Gemini" sent to Dean Devlin for option on a film deal.
1997 SFX magazine in production Hell section reports on a very similar idea to "Gemini".
1998 Dirk Produces in the summer of 1998 the movie script of "The Gemini Apes".
1998 Broadcast as audio movie BBC Radio 4 25th December 2.15pm.
