Synopsis
Picks up the characters created in Robert Tressell's The Ragged Trousered Philanthropist in new stories set 10 years after the novel ends. The residents of Mugsborough have different views of the war, someone returns from Flanders with a terrible injury and a child remains unaware of the circumstances of her parentage
