Heather writes;
I have worked in TV & audio drama for 18 years. Currently script editing on Grantchester series 6 for Kudos after having worked as a Development Executive with the company for 3 years.
While part of the development team at Kudos I worked across a wide range of projects in development and script edited the BBC2 drama Responsible Child and the BBC comedy pilot Bumps.
As an audio drama producer for the BBC I have produced & directed drama & readings for BBC Radio 4, Radio 3 & BBC Radio 4 Extra including award-winning dramas by Lucy Caldwell, Eoin McNamee, Christine Murphy & Morwenna Banks.
While at the BBC I worked with many of the UK's leading writing (Adrian Hodges, Ed Whitmore & Tracey Malone, Lucy Gannon, Ronan Bennett, Doug Lucie, Abbie Spallen, Bernard MacLaverty) & acting talent on a wide range of dramas, and produced full cast dramatisations of Chuck Palahniuk's 'Fight Club' & Neil Gaiman's 'Neverwhere' (starring James McAvoy, Natalie Dormer, Benedict Cumberbatch, Christopher Lee, Sophie Okonado & David Harewood), 'How the Marquis Got His Coat Back', 'Stardust', & Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman's 'Good Omens' for BBC Radio 4.
She has abridged & edited prose & short stories for broadcast & has commissioned and produced short stories from some of the UK's leading writers including John Boyne, Eimear McBride, Niall Williams, Brian Friel, Claire McGowan, Stuart Neville, Jennifer Johnston, Arthur Mathews, Ian Sansom, Maeve Binchy and Sarah Hilary.
