Richard Clegg started broadcasting while at Leeds University in the 60s. Joined BFBS in Cyprus in April 1974. On BBC Radio 2 from December 1977. One of the presenters of You and the Night and the Music, String Sound and Music from the Shows. Regular announcer on The News Huddlines until 2001.
