Comment by Dirk Maggs
It was the happiest show I ever worked on, it was bloody hard work and a scary learning experience, but I'd do it again anytime.
Everything I do is shaped by my background in comedy. I don’t mean always looking to find a gag. I mean learning to use timing to ‘drop the bombs’ in exactly the right places. All through my career I have never turned down the chance to do comedy, and I am very fond of traditional British humour, which usually has a bawdy edge.
The greatest fun I had was on News Huddlines. It was also the scariest and steepest learning curve.
I'll always be grateful to Roy, June and Chris for their 'on the job training'!
